Welcome Letter

WELCOME
TO THE 76th ANNUAL MEETING OF
THE JAPANESE SOCIETY OF RADIOLOGICAL TECHNOLOGY (JSRT),

“The Power of Imaging”

Dear colleagues and friends,

I am honored and delighted to host you at the 76th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Radiological Technology (JSRT) in conjunction with The Japan Radiology Congress 2020 (JRC2020) from April ninth to twelfth 2020 at PACIFICO YOKOHAMA in this vibrant international city. This year is a very special year because Tokyo will host the Olympic Summer Games for the first time since 1964 and we will organize the first annual meeting of the new Japanese Imperial era, “Reiwa.” I would like to make this occasion memorable for everybody.

The theme of JRC2020 is “the Power of Imaging.” Each image contains a great deal of information, and information technology is a driving force in the health care industry, including machine learning based diagnosis, healthcare management, radiation exposure monitoring, etc. We should have a close look at the information piece by piece. It may bring new knowledge and innovation. The 76th Annual Meeting of JSRT is a place where you will gain new insights from cutting-edge researchers in radiological technology and rediscover the Power of Imaging.

Organizing committee members are working together to create a program for mining knowledge in radiological technology from a wealth of information. I hope this conference and your time in Yokohama will leave a lasting impact on you all, and that you leave with new, valuable insights to help you in your careers.

I look forward to welcoming you all to the 76th Annual Meeting of JSRT!

Warmest Regards,

Yasuo OKUDA
President of the 76th annual meeting of JSRT
