International Scholarship Guidelines
The following guidelines are for the JSRT International Scholarship.
The Japanese Society of Radiological Technology (JSRT) announces the International Scholarship open to international students, young technologists, and researchers to attend the 75th Annual Meeting of JSRT to be held April 11-14, 2019 in Yokohama, Japan.
A total of up to \100,000 JPY in scholarships will be awarded to defray some of the costs of traveling and accommodation. In addition, free registration to the meeting is covered.
The scholarship will be reimbursed at JSRT committee room 514. Winners must attend the meeting to receive the scholarship.
Previous JSRT scholarship recipients are not eligible.
Applicants must be;
- Non-Japanese residents or international students attending school in Japan
- The first author of an abstract accepted as an oral presentation at the 75th Annual Meeting of JSRT
- Under the age of 40 at the time of application
- Approved by the IRB if an abstract includes any of personal information such as image data, patients’ diagnoses, treatment plan, and also rating scores of human observers, etc.

The application of JSRT International Scholarship is due October 31, 2018.
Notifications of acceptance or rejection will be sent via email by December 2018. All judging decisions of the Organization Committee will be final and not respond to correspondence on the matter.
