Election Management Committee

We will be conducting an election of representatives for FY2017 to FY 2018 in accordance with the Articles of Association and Representative Election Rules as follows.

1. Election of Representatives:

(1)  Persons qualified to run for election: Candidates who were regular members at the end of FY2015
(2) Persons qualified to vote: Regular members as of February 29th, 2016 (Those who were approved regular membership after March 1st are not qualified to vote.)
(3) No. of representatives to be elected: Between 160 and 200
(4) Voting method: Secret voting by e-mail using a form determined separately, and each will be elected in order of the highest valid number of votes obtained.

 Those who pay the entire fee for FY2015 are qualified to stand for election and to vote.

2. Election Schedule:

(1) April 20th, 2016 Announcement of the “Election of Representatives for FY2017 to FY 2018” in this journal’s volume 72, item 4
(2) May 18th, 2016 Acceptance deadline for candidacy for representatives (arrival deadline)
(3) June 18th, 2016 Sending of the name list of candidates for representatives and relevant documents such as ballot papers
(4) July 18th, 2016 Voting deadline for election of representatives (arrival deadline)
(5) July 19th, 2016 Counting of votes for the election of representatives for FY2017 to FY 2018
(6) September 19th, 2016 Report of the Board of Directors

3. Notification for Candidacy

A regular member who will be nominating himself shall print out the specified papers for Notification for Candidacy for Representative in an A4 format (pdf/Word), enter the required information, put his signature on it, and send it by e-mail to the mail address of office@jsrt.or.jp by the deadline.
