Call for Abstracts

⚠️ BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT

Please read the following carefully before submitting your abstract.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

  • Abstract withdrawal is generally NOT permitted after submission.
  • Overseas presenting authors of accepted abstracts MUST complete pre-registration.
  • Two separate slide files must be submitted:
    • CyPos Slides
    • Presentation Slides
  • Failure to submit BOTH slide files by the deadline may result in:
    • Withdrawal from the program
    • Ineligibility for ICRPT Awards
    • Disqualification from presentation
  • A valid email address must be provided.
  • Important information will be sent regularly from November onward.
  • Authors are responsible for checking:
    • Their email inbox
    • Spam/Junk folders
    • The conference website
  • Visa processing delays are a common reason for presentation cancellation.
  • Presenting authors are strongly encouraged to begin visa preparations as early as possible.

AUTHOR RESPONSIBILITY

The conference organizers cannot be held responsible for missed emails, visa delays, registration failures, or missed submission deadlines.

From Abstract Submission to Conference Presentation

Instructions for Abstract Submission


1. Period

12:00 (noon) Sep 1 – 23:59 Nov 1, 2026 (UTC+9)

2. Abstract Structure

Title:

  • ≤ 30 words in English.
  • Do not include company or brand names.
  • Avoid series such as 1st report, 2nd report.
  • Replace or spell out abbreviations not listed in the approved abbreviation document.

Body:

  • ≤ 320 words in English.
  • Use [Purpose] [Methods] [Results] [Conclusion].
  • Figures and tables are not allowed.
  • An ethics statement is NOT required in the abstract.
  • Provide at least three research keywords.

3. Novelty Statement (for review only)

  • ≤ 200 words in English.
  • Do NOT include title, author names, or affiliations.
  • Spell out every abbreviation at first use.

5. Author Information

  • If you belong to an academic society, select or list its name.
  • Up to 15 authors including the Presenting Author.
  • Ensure your email address is correct.

6. Research Ethics

  • Applicants must comply with applicable international and national ethical guidelines following references.
  • If required, obtain the Institutional Review Board (IRB) or the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) approval before starting the study.
  • All presenters must answer the Questions about Ethics and Conflict of Interest (COI) on the abstract submission system.

7. Multiple Submissions

  • Multiple submissions are generally NOT accepted.
  • Exceptions may be considered only when the work has substantial scientific value.

After Acceptance

All abstracts for the 6th ICRPT will be peer reviewed after the abstract submission deadline.
Acceptance notifications are expected to be sent in December 2026.
Withdrawal after acceptance or failure to present at the conference may affect acceptance of submissions to future meetings and may result in exclusion from the ICRPT program.

1.  Pre-registration
Overseas presenting authors MUST complete pre-registration by the designated deadline.

2. Required Slide Submissions

  • All presenting authors are required to submit TWO separate presentation files after abstract acceptance.
  • All CyPos Slides and Presentation Slides must be in English.

 A. CyPos Slides

  • Used for pre-conference ICRPT Award evaluation.
  • Used for on-demand presentation viewing by registered participants.
  • Please include speaker notes to facilitate on-demand viewing.
  • Upload period: Mid-February to Mid-March 2027 (tentative)

 B. Presentation Slides

  • Used for the oral presentation during the conference.
  • All presentation slides must be uploaded in advance.
  • On-site submission or replacement will not be accepted.
  • Upload period: March 2027 (tentative)

 Important

  • CyPos Slides and Presentation Slides must be uploaded separately to their designated system. Submission of one file does NOT replace the other.
  • Authors are responsible for completing BOTH submissions by the specified deadlines.
  • Failure to upload BOTH required files by the deadline may result in:
    • Withdrawal of the abstract from the conference program
    • Ineligibility for ICRPT Awards
    • Disqualification from presentation

3. Presentation Information 

  • The presentation format is oral only.
  • In principle, accepted abstracts must be presented in person by the presenting author.
  • Each oral presentation will be allocated 10 minutes: 7 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for questions and answers.

4. Disclosure of Conflict of Interest (COI)

  • If the study receives any industry funding, regardless of the amount, or involves company employees, this information must be disclosed.
  • A COI declaration must appear on the second slide of both CyPos and Presentation Slides.

5. Substitute Presenter

  • The presenting author is responsible for the presentation.
  • If unable to attend, notify the Secretariat and designate a co-author in advance.

6. No-Show Policy

  • Withdrawal after acceptance or failure to present at the conference may affect acceptance of submissions for future conferences.

 ICRPT Awards

Awards will be given to researchers who deliver outstanding presentations in three categories:

  • Brilliant Award
  • Outstanding Presentation Award
  • Certificate of Merit Award
